WorldWinner utilizes an internal matching system to:
- Determine how players are matched against one another
- Provide participants with the same starting board/layout/hands/cards and/or similar opportunities to solve any game
The matching system takes into account numerous data points/criteria that effects how players are matched. Here are a few of those criteria:
- # of cash tournaments played
- Average and Highest Scores
- Win Ratio (Amount of money won/lost)
- Available opponents of similar skills/"ranking" at the time of participation
There is other criteria taken into account that contributes to the matching experience and also some criteria that are more heavily weighted than others.
Keep in mind that:
- A player's success is based on their skills, strategy and moves made during their game
- All tournament matching is handled prior to the player playing their entry into each tournament - not after they've played their game and achieved a final score of their game.
- How players are matched will vary per game title and per tournament type
